Tribal Fiber
I submitted these logos to Tribal Fiber while the company was still working on a new name. Their business plan, working with hilltribes in Thailand to sustainably produce fine hemp clothing for import to the U.S., required something sophisticated which reflected the fabric's earthy nature.
Lanna Designs: named after one of the hilltribes of northern Thailand. The design is based on the handloom prevalent in the area.
Culture Shack: a play on "culture shock".
WorldWeave: this handloom refinement gives a subtle nod to the women who create the textiles.
